Dragon Display Box

The ultimate way to showcase your prized pistol!

Our Dragon carved display box is made using solid American Cherry wood and CNC carved to perfection. The dragon is a high-relief carving that virtually pops off of the top of the box! The whole box is a nod to Asia and the mystic East. It features an inner drop-in lid with anti-reflective museum glass that keeps dust and debris away from both your firearm and the supple suede lined insert.

As with all of our display boxes, no expense is spared - that includes labor. Although every pannel on the box is individually CNC carved, the entire box is hand finished and assembled. Each box takes no less than 60 man hours to produce. We use vinyl sealer to prevent any water marks from ever appearing on the box (should it get damp). Once the sealer is dry, we then dye the entire box to a uniform mahogany color and allow that to dry. Hand buffing the dye with steel wool on the high points makes the entire carving come to life! 4-5 coats of high gloss clear lacquer are then applied to give clear depth in the finish and finally, a top coat of matte lacquer is applied to give the entire box a buttery sheen.

This box is intentionally made to have a "worn" look. However, it will develop even more patina as the years progress. This is truly an heirloom piece that you will want to pass on to your children or grand-children.

Measurements are: 14" left to right, 10.5" front to back, and 6.5" from base to the top of the dragon.

Production of these boxes takes between 2-3 months.
